Your Questions, Answered

Yes -I offer a free 20-minute online consultation to see if we feel like a good fit before working together.
This is a space for us to connect, explore what’s bringing you here, and for you to ask any questions you may have. I also use this time to get a sense of how I can best support you and whether my approach aligns with what you’re looking for.
If it feels like a good fit, we’ll schedule your first session and I’ll send along an intake and consent form so we have a solid foundation going into our work together.
-
Our first session is about getting to know each other and gently setting the foundation for our work.
We’ll review your intake, talk about what you’re hoping to get from counselling or coaching, and begin with a brief check-in to see how you’re arriving that day, both mentally and in your body.
From there, we’ll explore whatever feels most present or important for you, at a pace that feels supportive and not rushed.
-
How often we meet depends on your goals and what feels sustainable for you.
For many people, biweekly sessions are a supportive rhythm and offer consistency while allowing time to integrate between sessions. Weekly sessions can be helpful during more intense or transitional periods.
There’s no one “right” pace. We’ll find what works best for you.

I require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes so I can offer that time to someone else.
Sessions cancelled within 24 hours are charged the full session fee. For consultations, a $50 fee may apply if cancelled within that window, as that time is held specifically for you.
If you’re sick or something unexpected comes up, I understand. Please reach out, and we’ll navigate it together.

Yes - Coverage depends on your specific benefits plan.
As a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC), I may be eligible for reimbursement under some extended health plans. I recommend checking directly with your provider to confirm your coverage.
-
Yes—I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots for those who might not otherwise be able to access support.
If this feels important for you, you’re welcome to reach out and we can explore what’s possible based on current availability.
